What We Offer
Thanks to Bobbie Frederick and the Ryden H. Frederick Charitable Fund, we have been able to bring our Calming Corner to life! Our calming corner includes a variety of sensory toys and activities available for anyone to use. Located in our Young Adult room, it’s the perfect spot for patrons who may need a quiet, calming space.
Talking Book & Braille Library
The Talking Book & Braille Library (or TBBL) is a free library of braille & audio materials circulated directly to the patron’s door. Materials can include audio books, magazines, audio players & accessories, braille books, braille magazines, downloadable books, and downloadable magazines. There is a free app for iOS and Android mobile devices as well. Patrons can find new and current titles, fiction, non-fiction, and foreign language materials available. Even better, titles for pre-K through young adult ages are offered! The delivery and return service of all materials is free.
